Fernweh takes its name from a German word meaning a longing to explore faraway places. This adults only retreat combines striking architecture with warm, light filled interiors.

Soaring ceilings and expansive windows fill the open living area with natural light. Unique furnishings and collected treasures from around the world give every space a sense of character. Prepare a leisurely breakfast, share a bottle of local wine or settle in with a good book.

Outside, the private entertaining area invites guests to soak in the spa among the surrounding greenery. In the evening, gather around the outdoor stone firepit beneath the stars. Firewood kits are available from reception. During the cooler months, the indoor fireplace adds warmth and ambience.

Fernweh accommodates up to four guests in two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Parking is available for two vehicles. The home is not pet friendly. Wineries, restaurants, cellar doors, golf courses and concert venues are all a short drive away.
