Stayed two nights at the Ingenia holidays Nepean River caravan park . The sites are quite close together, and I was glad to have a small caravan to back into a spot with limited room to manoeuvre. The powered sites were good, though some concrete slabs weren’t level with the ground and could be a trip hazard if you’re not careful. The facilities were solid, with a pool, jumping pad and activity areas available. The toilet and bathroom blocks were large, clean and easy to use. Showers operated by a motion sensor and gave a decent run time — about five minutes unless you turned it off early. Despite being right near the suburban train line, the campground was quieter than expected. Its location close to public transport, fast‑food outlets and the main shopping centre made it very convenient. A practical and well‑located place to stay.
We thought the staff were lovely, the cabin clean and tidy. The only thing we were disappointed in was how close the cabins were to each other, and that we couldn't see the river. The internet was slow, and the powerlines were extremely close to guests overhead. Overall we had a reasonable stay. Thankyou to staff for the welcoming friendly attitude.
Pretty average place. Rooms are very outdated unfortunately. A downside about the rooms is the fact that we had to make our own beds. No sheets were on any of the beds so we had to make 4 bunk beds after a long trip in the car. Very disappointing considering the price we paid you would expect the beds to be made. Loud train tracks near park. There is a very big pool with a kiddie pool for the younger kids. Made for all ages. Staff were very kind and helped us find our cabin right away. If you need a quick place to stay over night I recommend this place but I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 nights here.
The girls in reception were fantastic, but unfortunately, the "Powers that be" have raised prices for powered sites from $42.00 in June '25 to $75.00 in Jan '26 with a further price hike in Feb '26. As semi-permanent resident I feel that this is excessive for a piece of ground approximately 6m x 15m at best. After all, I am staying in my own accommodation. Can management please explain the horriffic price hikes ( please don’t cite " supply and demand" because this park is empty durin winter and autumn.
I rented a site here. This was by far the most expensive holiday park I stayed at and I stayed at 10 different ones throughout Australia between Adelaide and Sydney. My site was extremely far from the bathroom which was not ideal. There were sites near the bathroom so you might not have that problem if you are lucky. The bathroom looked clean, but smelled terrible. The showers were fine but they were on a 5 min timer with a sensor and you couldn’t adjust the temperature and for me it was too hot. This campsite is not bad but based on how expensive it was (A$109 for 1 night), it is not a good value.
