The five pet-friendly traditional Scandinavian timber cabins and three riverside unpowered campsites provide a sanctuary where you can disconnect from the outside world. What this place offers
Mokki Cabin
The four Mokki cabins accommodate up to four guests with a queen bed taking in the views from the studio area, a bunk bed in a private bedroom and optional rollaway for a fifth guest. All cabins are heated, with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, dining area, and veranda. The river and complimentary laundry, sauna, and tennis court are just a short walk away for your convenience, as are the complimentary use of canoes (life jackets supplied). Linen (sheets, pillow slip and towels), woollen blankets and down doonas are provided.
Hytti Cabin
The Hytti cabin accommodates up to six guests with a queen bed taking in the views from the studio area, a double bed in a private bedroom, a bunk bed in a second private bedroom and optional rollaway for the seventh guest. All cabins are heated, with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, dining area, and veranda. The river and complimentary laundry (closed during winter), sauna, and tennis court are just a short walk away for your convenience, as are the complimentary use of canoes (life jackets supplied). Linen (sheets, pillow slip and towels), blankets and down doonas are provided.

Fantastic place to get away and enjoy the countryside of the snowy mountains. Plenty of animals on the farm for kids to experience and a local brewery for adults only 10mins up the road. There are 5 huts spread across the escarpment with a degree of privacy. Each hut has a different bed configuration so check what suits best. Small kitchenette and bathroom are adequate for a short and pleasant stay.

We had a great time camping at Lappi Farm on the long weekend. The scenery is amazing and the place is peaceful (minus the noise made by my kids). The river made the experience with being able to have a paddle along it with the use of the canoes and life jackets made available. Basic amenities provided making camping that little bit easier. Kids had fun searching for wombats and loved seeing the animals on the farm. Brendan was super helpful providing fire wood and pit for us. Thanks for a great time.

Had a great stay at Lappi Farm. The location is stunning - well removed from urban/suburban life. We enjoyed swimming in the cool, clean river, and using the kayaks and paddle boards. There were lots of quirky farm animals for kids to pat. The cabins were well appointed and we stayed in the Hytti with a family of five. A bonus was being able to bring our Labrador. It was quiet and private with picturesque views. Felt like glamping given the mod cons and surrounds. The only down side was that we did go in Summer during high temps, which meant the cabins were very hot - this made it tricky in mid/late afternoons and for sleep. I would next time consider a stay in cooler months, and then also make use of the traditional sauna. Brendan, Hayley and their kids were friendly and helpful hosts from before we arrived and during. It feels like they are sharing their home and slice of the Snowy River area with others. We were inspired to visit LappiFarm due to the Finnish heritage, and would recommend this to others looking for a Kessa Mökki (Summer Cabin) experience in the Aussie bush.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) stayed at Lappi Farm in the winter and it was the ultimate country escape. We were greeted by the host on arrival and was made to feel more than welcome throughout our 2 night stay. We stayed in one of the cabins, which are extremely cosy, nicely furnished, and spacious enough for a family of 4. We woke to a beautiful view of the sunrise set amongst the valley and the stream running through. The cabin was fully equipped and had an outdoor fire pit, which we took full advantage of! We also had a very welcome guest of one of the hosts dogs joining us by the fire at night. The farm has so many animals which our girls were so happy to feed in the morning. There is a beautiful brewery, which also serves great food, about a 5 minute drive away, so something for all the family, and plenty of walking trails nearby. If your looking for an outdoors tranquil break away from the chaos of the city then I would definitely recommend Lappi Farm.

Rooms as great and the location is perfect. There are 5 canbins but you wouldnt even know it. The owners are friendly and very welcoming and so are their dogs! It will be our fourth year coming to Lappi Farm this July and we hope we continue for years to come.
