The Standard Cabin is a one bedroom, open plan style cabin close to park amenities. Features include queen size bed with linen in separate bedroom, kitchenette, shared showers and toilets at the park's 2 x amenities blocks, and veranda with outdoor setting. Two bunk beds in open plan dining, kitchen area which can be curtained off.

The Park Cabin is a two bedroom, self-contained cabin close to both Durras Lake and Beach. Features include queen size bed with linen, full kitchen, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, shower and toilet, ceiling fans in living area and veranda with outdoor setting. The second bedroom has two standard size single bunk beds with linen packs supplied, more suitable for children.

I had such a fun stay at Lakesea Caravan Park, where kangaroos roamed freely—exactly what I was hoping for. On one side of the park was the peaceful lake, where I enjoyed spotting waterfowl in its marsh. On the other side was the ocean, and pristine beach. Walking down the lush paths to the ocean through the mangroves and succulents was magical. The cottage was comfortable and all the essentials were provided. The kitchen in our accommodation had everything we needed to cook, which was a relief due to the park’s remote location and limited dining options nearby. Next time, I plan to book one of the raised cabins with ocean views, as some guests in those cabins mentioned seeing colorful budgies and other birds from their balconies—something I’d love to see on a future visit!
