Kalinya Estate

We have just spent the most spectacular weekend with family and friends at Kalinya Estate to celebrate the marriage of our daughter and her now husband. The venue is spectacular, the services and facilities are superb, in fact, we are already discussing our next visit, and the group chat is in process. All ages and interests are catered for from relaxing in the immaculate grounds or watching a movie in the theatre, to visiting a few of the locals (chickens, geese, Elvis and Elsie, ducks and birdlife), swimming in the heated pool, soaking in the spa, playing various lawn games and more. Not to mention the competition on the pickle ball and tennis courts, golf simulator, retro videogames, pool table and the list goes on. The bespoke nature of individual spaces including the music room evoke emotion and a feeling of grandeur and nostalgia, an ‘other world’ experience. The accommodation was luxurious and perfectly maintained. We were lucky enough to have all seasons over the weekend, so an open fire was enjoyed on a cold and wet night, whilst they arranged for gorgeous sunny weather for the big day. The most important thing for us was the connection with Mandy, Bec and the team, who effortlessly made the main event and the whole weekend magical. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was smoothly organised or adjusted as required. The care, attention to detail and authentic love of what they do was heart felt. If you are looking for a uniquely special experience, you could not choose a more professional group and an exceptional location. We wish everyone who follows a wonderful wedding as we had this last weekend. All the best to the Kalinya family. We can’t thank you enough.

I loved that Kalinya is only about an hour from Sydney that if guests wanted to go home after, they could. The layout of the place is amazing and the area for the wedding ceremony, post ceremony drinks and reception are all within walking distance (no need to hire cars!) and there are so many things the guests can do during the post ceremony drinks in the games centre. Plus the ducks/geese are SOOO cute. In terms of accommodation, everything was clean and not run down which I found some other popular venues to be. I would just pay attention to what hiring the whole venue means before booking. There is a second living room/area that I would have loved to be opened to us as I had 38 people staying with me but did not realise was not included. BYO was also amazing and Mandy and Bec were very easy to work with. Would highly recommend this place if you had a wedding coordinator on they day:).

Kalinya Estate is a dream venue, but what makes it even better are the people running it - Mandy and Bec. My Fiance and I had visited two other wedding venues before going to Kalinya; As soon as we got there and met Mandy we felt immediately at ease. We knew from that first meeting that Kalinya was our dream wedding spot, and it turned out to be everything we could ask for and more! We stayed at Kalinya on the Friday and Saturday night with our nearest and dearest, and this honestly just made the weekend so special. Kalinya has everything you could think of, from a pool, squash courts, tennis court, pickle-ball, virtual golf - honestly you name it, they have thought of it all! We felt like kids in a candy shop. We felt so supported during the wedding planning process (Bec had to field my many questions) but at no point did we feel in the lurch! Forever grateful to Mandy and Bec for making our big day (and weekend) what it was.

We had our wedding at Kalinya Estate and truly could not imagine getting married anywhere else. My family and our entire bridal party stayed at the venue for the whole weekend, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff are incredible, warm, supportive and so professional throughout the entire process. They made everything feel effortless. The property itself is stunning and so comfortable, with every amenity you could possibly need. We received countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful the staff were. It was a 10/10 experience in every way. Kalinya Estate exceeded every expectation, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re considering it for your wedding, don’t hesitate, it’s truly something special.
