NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort

Stunning place to stay. Everything you need and then some. Clean modern amenities, and they were busy. Right alongside a beautiful beach with deck chairs provided. Friendly staff. Level grassed can sights. We'd happily come again.

Murramarang is one of my favourite places & the location, services & staff all combined make it the ultimate. On the 4th of Feb my partner & I got engaged on the beach & headed to the pool for a cocktail to celebrate & decided to stay there for a swim. Some staff had caught onto this & the manager approached us with a gorgeous bottle of what happens to be our favourite Prosecco with 2 glasses & a congratulations to celebrate complimentary 🎉🥂🍾. I was so floored by this beautiful gesture & made our day that much better with that beautiful act. Totally unexpected. We will now be getting married at that same venue. It’s those amazing moments that add up to create unforgettable memories 🤗.

Stayed on a powered camp site so cannot comment on the rooms. We were very pleased with the amenities and facilities at this place. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a wide range of activities to entertain the kids, such as the large resort pool, Kids Club, pedal karts, the inflatable basketball-Connect 4 and soccer archery, wildlife, and plenty of outdoor areas for the adults to hang out. We loved the onsite cafe and restaurant. Fantastic location by the beach and being part of the Murramarang South Coast Walk meant access to sections of this multi-day hike are right at the entrance of this site. Batemans Bay is about 10-15 mins drive away if you need supplies or restaurants.

South Durras is absolutely beautiful with the wildlife being so friendly. As appose to my experience with NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort. It was completely opposite. It is a non hygienic place. The mid stay clean service is non existent. Even when I made sure to have my rooms cleaned as the days were coming to the end of our stay with no signs of efforts to clean or seeing the cleaning kart come past as you would think as I stayed for 9 nights. Their policy states that midstay or on the seventh day the accomodation is serviced. I went to the office at 835am on the 31st of December and ensured that I was on the job List for the day as it was New Year’s Eve and the next day was New Year’s Day. The lady confirmed that it will be done. Mentioning to them that we going to be away all day so they can come in what ever time suits them. I arrived at my ocean view villa that evening noticing that towels were left on the outdoor dining set all wet from the rain during the day. Then walking into the rooms that had not been serviced. When my wife approached them their response was that I had to book it in. What a cop out!! I personally went in to ensure this was attended to. Then the Maintance manager came in all sorrowful promising and reassuring us that it will be done by 10am tomorrow which was the 1st of January 2026 . Same story that afternoon of the 1st. Nothing had been done. Anyway there excuses kept getting longer and longer with no sense or aligning themselves correctly to their negligence. Amongst all that bull crap. The rooms from day one where never clean and the allegies that arose from the build up of dust over the years was clearly present. A huge lack of cleaning of their rooms with dust and mould smell. Very disappointing. Please be carful if your going with young children as there is many hazards around. Allergies will rise very quickly. I would choose another place to be safe. The feedback and unattended response on email is appalling. Always happy to take the money but never give back. The place is falling apart. Rust gutters and building debris extremely evident. It’s actually a hazard. Not surprising from a NRMA sponsor.
