We had a great stay at Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough, a large, well-located property that’s easy to access and makes getting into the CBD a breeze. While we didn’t use the pool, spa or sauna on this visit, it was good knowing they were available and we’ll definitely take advantage of them next time.
There are countless restaurants, bars and pubs within easy walking distance. The suite itself was spacious, clean and well-appointed. It’s set up perfectly for if you want to cook at home or order in. The kitchen had all the essentials including a pod coffee machine, a selection of teas, a full-size fridge and freezer, plus all the utensils, cookware, plates, bowls, cutlery and glassware you’d need to prepare a proper meal.
The bedroom was generous in size, with a large double wardrobe offering plenty of hanging space and drawers.
The living area was roomy and comfortable, if a little on the plain side, with a decent lounge, coffee table and TV. There was also a good-sized balcony, although our view was of the laneway and parking area behind the building. On the topic of parking, we opted for Wilson Parking about 50 metres up the road instead of the Secure Park attached to the property, as it worked out to be roughly half the price. The Wilson parking was directly accessible via the 2nd level.
Staff were friendly, accommodating and easy to deal with. I requested an early check-in and was in our room by midday, which was genuinely appreciated. Overall, it was a very solid stay and one we’d happily repeat.

I came to Sydney with my family and stayed at this hotel, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience and I would not return. Basic amenities such as the air conditioning were not working properly. Even after upgrading to their top-of-the-line room, there was little to no improvement.
The gym equipment had visible rust on the machines, and the pool had a strong unpleasant smell. The carpets in the room felt old, and both the bed and pillows had an unpleasant odor. The pillows themselves were also very poor quality and uncomfortable.
I will say that the reception staff were polite and helpful. They were receptive to our concerns and were kind enough to move us into a better room to try to resolve the issues. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the overall condition of the hotel still fell well below expectations.

This place is utterly soulless. The apartments are complete full, no where near as bright and cherry as the photos suggest. It's noisy inside, endless street noise. The small, dirty balcony is immediately opposite a multi story car park, as in, just a few meters away, and anyone can look in the window, so I have the blinds closed fully in the day time. Check in was delayed slightly as the room still wasn't clean, and when I finally got on, the carpet was still dirty. The whole apartment has a musty smell.
Overall it's way overpriced for the location, quality and facilities.
Not a place I'd ever want to stay again.

Location was incredible!!!!! Literally next door to two coffee shops and around the corner from a grocery store, and surrounded by restaurants plus super close to the amazing Darling Harbour. Close to all kinds of public transport and you can see the Saturday night fireworks outside of the hotel windows. Perfect location. On top of the location we loved having the apartment style living with the kitchen and washer and dryer. It came with all the amenities we could need (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, etc) and the staff was so kind and went above and beyond helping when we didn’t have what we needed. We also loved the pool and hot tub and the hours for that were incredible too. This is a great place for a family to stay in Sydney!!! Seriously I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Great location I'm a beautiful historic building. Rooms are quite nice....except.....the wifi would not work. When we asked for help, we were told "sorry but your phone won't connect". The tv itself even wouldn't connect to the internet, we could only watch free to air channels.
Paid extra for the "luxuries" advertised but we were pretty disappointed.
For what we paid, we expected a lot more. Not a favourite, and we won't be back.
