We stopped by during our trip from Bathurst to Hervey Bay. Urunga is our usual overnighter, and this was our first time staying here. Check-in was easy, and the staff called us before we arrived, just in case we couldn't make it before they closed. The rooms were big, but they had that usual musty smell as soon as you walked in. We had to open up all the windows to get some air flowing through the room. The poor split system aircon wasn't strong enough to reach all the bedrooms, which made sleeping with the fans on a challenge. The kids decided to sleep on the sofa bed in the main living room since it was much cooler there. The location is close to places to grab some food. The place was busy but pretty quiet, which was nice. We'd definitely consider coming back again.
