My husband and I stayed in our tent on a powered grass site for 5 nights and had a great time. The park is only a short walk to the beach, Blue Pool, Woolies and other shops so there was no need to take our car out unless we wanted to do day trips in nearby towns which we did. The weather was (mostly) great, other than our last day which was incredibly windy so we made use of the camp kitchen room which gave us better shelter than our tent till the wind died down. The amenities - (although older than other Reflections parks we have stayed at) were always clean and regularly attended to. Staff on reception were friendly, helpful and informative and we will definitely be back in the future.
Location of the park is fantastic as you can walk to everything. Tourist park camping isn't our thing as we don't like being on top of everyone. Most Campers were respectful and quiet though, but I could imagine during school holidays it would be a nightmare. We left our campsite each day for the entire day as there were much quieter and more scenic places to park for the day. We essentially used the park as somewhere to legally sleep in our camper each night and use the toilet/ shower facilities. Facilities were ok, a little out dated but served their purpose. Staff were friendly and helpful. Most sites were level.
Can’t beat the location, but much could be improved. Such as letting multiple cars in simply to unload!! We had 3 different people stay with 3 carloads of things - yet they wouldn’t allow anything other than 1 rego enter - tough when you have a bunch of gear! It’s a little dated, however can’t beat location - gorgeous view and everything in walking distance! Reasonable rates too. Basics such as salt and pepper wouldn’t go amiss. Will visit again - please do allow people in simply to unload cars tho!
Front desk woman was friendly. This park is NOT stunning! Close to everything .. you can roll there from your non powered slopping sites. Horrid for tents n small campers. Absolutely wrong. No privacy n amenities block was dated. We generally stay at reflection.. after this stay , we will walk the parks to see if it’s satisfactory or a money grabber , with no comfort thoughts for people.
Every year I come and stay with family in Bermagui who have lived and vacationed here for many years and this year I have a caravan and am staying with them at their house. Every caravan park I have approached on my trip along the east coast has accepted money for me to use their dump point. I am happy to pay what they wish as it is not only a convenience for me but it contributes to their service. On the front of this caravan park they have a sign wishing people peace and good cheer for the festive season and so I felt confident approaching them with my request but the ladies at the front desk said no to my request. This ‘no’ was not done it a way that made me comfortable. They directed me to one half an hour away which was unfortunately not in working order. I was always thinking this would be a place I would stay if my family’s places were full but I now will not nor will I recommend friends who visit to.
