Rainbow Creek

A true sanctuary, Rainbow creek is nestled in the rainforests of the Kalang Valley, the most wild and beautiful place on Gumbaynggirr Country. Curated for connection to nature, your loved one and yourself, birdsong fills the days. Lyrebirds call in the mist of autumn and Black Cockatoos throw their haunting cry to summer twilights.

Winter here is made for slow days in bed watching the forest through the window, cozy fires, conversation and wine on the couch, the blaze of a million stars turning overhead.

Summer is made for swimming. Wander the creek, dip into the river or explore the town. Far enough from Bellingen to feel like a true escape, yet close enough to go out for dinner. Or stock up and stay on the land, letting its magic unfold around you. A full kitchen makes slow feasts and shared platters easy while you watch fireflies dance on the evening air from the verandah.

Explore and wander over 98 acres with walking trails that follow the creek and meander up the ridge. The Kalang River is a short stroll away for lazy days by the water. There are yoga mats on the deck and art supplies in the library to nourish both body and spirit.
