We had a very enjoyable stay at your hotel. All of the staff we encountered were warm, friendly, and approachable. I'd especially like to recognise Jacob at the front desk. He was humorous, polite, and genuinely welcoming. When my son asked if it would be possible to change our room from a king bed to twin beds, Jacob happily arranged it for us without hesitation. His kindness made us feel truly valued as guests. The only suggestion I would like to make relates to the restaurant. On several occasions, we noticed that some of the plates, cutlery, and cups were not completely clean, so we had to look through them to find clean ones. That said, I would like to acknowledge the lady with grey hair working in the restaurant, who was incredibly friendly and hardworking. I noticed that there were often only two ladies managing the entire restaurant—one in the kitchen and the other clearing tables—so they seemed to be under considerable pressure. I completely understand that this may have contributed to the issue. Overall, we had a lovely stay and genuinely appreciated the hospitality of your team. If this area could be improved, we would be more than happy to choose your hotel again on our next visit.

What an incredible experience. My partner and I got engaged at this beautiful spot a week ago and I will forever be thinking about how perfect this moment was. From an amazing location with incredible amenities, delicious cocktails to the service which was OUTSTANDING! The staff really played a huge part in making sure this was the most special weekend we could have ever imagined! A special shoutout to Kristy (The wedding coordinator) from her detailed and personalised touches to her incredible acting to convince me I had won a trip away she went above and beyond and we cannot thank her enough. It’s a beautiful spot and we are eager to come back- potentially for a wedding! Thank you team and thank you Kristy!

Amazing customer service, was upgraded room as they were not too busy without asking. Rooms clean, very comfortable. Great location and high quality venue. Only feedback I would say is guests should not have to pay $15 per day for parking. Especially in Port Mac. Maybe metro you can get away with it. They should have free guest parking for sure.

Sails Port Macquarie is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. My partner and I got engaged here, the staff and wedding coordinator (Kristy) genuinely cared about making our special night as amazing as it possibly could be, they went above and beyond to cater to us, and we couldn’t thank them enough for that, If you’re considering a wedding or engagement here I couldn’t recommend it more highly - the difference it makes having people that genuinely love their job and care about the experience of the people that stay there is huge. Apart from this the rooms, pool and spa, and hotel bar/dining areas are beautiful. The outdoor pool is heated as well as the spa. The hotel is also great value for money considering the quality of service and amenities available to you. We will definitely be back!
