Saltwater Apartments

Superb, peaceful location opposite the beach. Our apartment was lovely: good space, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and even some self-catering facilities - perfect for a short stay. Pre-arrival info was really helpful - very friendly and welcoming hosts: thank you Matt & Ellen!

We stayed in suite number 3 on the ground floor. It was very well set up with lots of thoughtful touches and nice decor. 2 quite small rooms but worked well for my husband and I for our overnight stay. The location is great with a walk over a quiet local road straight onto the beach. We arrived around 4pm. Owners had let us know that Lake Cathie was quiet at night so we went to the local tavern early for us at about 6.30. It was Saturday and so extremely busy and noisy (local team had been playing). The food was not great so I recommend you contact owners if you want to find something better for food.

We had a beautiful weekend stay at Saltwater Apartmrnts. Such an awesome location- right on the beach and the lake. The room was styled so nicely, making it feel like a decadent holiday without the huge price tag. The kids loved swimming in the pool and I loved reading by the pool, listening to the waves of the sea. Thanks for having us!
