Shamrock Lodge

We had a meal here recently for our son's christening. Everything was absolutely amazing, as always. Food was fabulous, and our guests all commented on how good it was . Service was excellent, again, as always. Plenty of staff on duty which is nice to see , and all staff were very helpful and friendly. It's great to have such a lovely, consistently good, hotel in the town . Thanks to Paddy, Alan and all the staff.

We’ve just had our 1 year anniversary meal here in the Shamrock lodge hotel, and all I can say is 5 stars all round. This place never fails to amaze us. The food is out of this world and the staff are even better. If I could give this review more than 5 stars I would. We had our 3 course meal in the bistro part of the hotel and we had a young girl called Ruby serving us. She was just amazing. So friendly and smiley. We have been so well looked after and even though it’s been a year since our wedding, we are still treated like royalty. Feels like home here❤️ thanks guys x

We stayed as part of a large family for NYE... The service was 10/10 .. Staff is what make this place especially for people with young kids. The lady on reception giving out kids selection boxes on arrival, or the manager giving us champagne for the bells or the bar and waiter service all being so friendly. Can only highly recommend for couples and young families.

Was not a guest in this hotel just visited for lunch. All public areas appeared clean and well maintained with nice decor. Staff where friendly. Service was good. Lunch menu was limited but fresh and tasty.
