The Old School Bed and Breakfast offer five-star luxurious bygone-era accommodation ideally suited to couples. Located midway between Bega and Merimbula with beaches, golf courses, walking trails, shopping and restaurants less than 20 minutes drive away, The Old School is ideally positioned for exploring the whole region.
A non-smoking bed and breakfast The Old School room is spacious and has a queen-sized four-poster bed, high quality and antique furnishings, free WiFi and for those chilly days and nights, the fire is alight and welcoming. The room has its own outside sitting area with views over the gardens.
The large beautiful bathroom has a claw foot cast bath. There is a separate tea-making area complete with a bar fridge, pod coffee maker, freshly baked homemade biscuits, and iron and ironing board.
A substantial breakfast is provided using homegrown produce where possible. A three-course dinner is available by prior arrangement.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room where you can soak up the wonderful views over the farmland to the ridge.
A EV charger is available and there is ample parking space to accommodate your boat trailer or caravan.

Peter and Jacqui were so kind and generous. We were camping down the road, drove over the cattle grate and snapped our front shock on our car. We stopped into their bed and breakfast, found Jacqui watering the garden and told her we were in a bit of strife. She immediately welcomed us into her property whilst Peter ran about to collect items and equipment we could use to weld and fix our car. What a wonderful and helpful folk, we had a walk around their place and it’s so beautiful, the rooms are immaculate. We will be staying here next time we’re in town and would recommend their beautiful bnb to anyone looking for a tranquil and comfortable experience. A huge thanks and massive appreciation.

If I could give Jacqui and Peter 6 stars I would. I snapped a suspension component on my car just around the corner from their property on new years day. I was in desperate need of a welder, we drove past and saw Jacqui watering her garden. I asked her if they had a welder, luckily they did and Jacqui and Peter quickly dropped what they were doing to help. Within 15mins I had everything I needed to fix my car and get back on the road. They gave us a tour of their beautiful house that they built themselves, an absolutely lovely couple. If we are ever back in the area we wouldn't think twice about staying at their bed and breakfast.

I have recently had a 3 night stay and I must say it was perfect. Jacqui was a great host. Her food was exquisite. The views are spectacular. Will definitely be returning.
