A local favourite for the adventurer within, this walk takes you to some of the most remote beaches in the Shoalhaven Region.
There are multiple route options on this walk. The main circuit is called Coomies Walk where you can explore sheltered coves great for swimming and snorkeling, beautiful lookouts with views along the coast and ancient bushland heath and fern forests. A great detour is the shorter Wreck Walk which takes you past Whale Point, Wilsons Beach and the 1928 shipwreck of the S.S.Merimbula. If you're looking to do a shorter walk, the Wreck Walk only takes about an hour and is great with kids.
A nice day trip location with great views of the beach, the rocks and the cliffs.
There’s 2 car parks, an outer car park with the easy access to the beach and the toilets with some picnic tables. Then an inner car park with access to the bosom beach and some picnic tables as well but no toilets. However, glad I parked at the inner one on a hot day, saved the extra 5-10 minutes of walking.
Gosangs Tunnel was the highlight with the insane cliff edge but you need to Asian squat and crab walk or crawl your way in and out.
Mermaids Inlet was nice if you want to go to the lower cliff edges, seen them used by local fishers.
Also be careful of a lot of brown spiders with yellow markings hanging around webs over your head. It gets windy and I was genuinely scared one of them will fall on our heads if it got too windy.
Had a nice family trip for the day! :)

A walk around the beautiful Beecroft Peninsular, crystal clear waters, swimming, fishing, snorkelling. Spectacular cliffs, a mor challenging walk if you do the whole loop

After a 15min, easy grade walk from the carpark to the mermaids inlet, you will find the tunnel that you'll need to duck down and crab walk through to this amazing landing overlooking the ocean and shear cliffs. Amazing adventure. Need to be careful with little ones...

Nice beach around the area with many magnificent coves! Make sure you get some unique angles when taking photos from the coves. The restrooms are not near the beach at the walking trail area. They are located at the parking area which is about 200m away.

Abrahams Bosom Beach in Currarong, NSW is a truly stunning destination. The beach itself is beautiful, boasting incredible views that make it a fantastic spot to watch the sunset. During peak times, finding parking might be a bit of a challenge, but during off-peak hours, you can enjoy the serene beauty with hardly anyone around.
With a couple of picnic tables, it's perfect for a leisurely meal while taking in the scenic surroundings. The ease of walking around the area makes it accessible to all. In summary, Abrahams Bosom Beach is a hidden gem and a really nice place to visit, especially for those seeking a peaceful escape in nature.
