Wildes Boutique Hotel

Wylds Boutique Hotel is a beautiful place to stay when visiting any of the area in or around Kangaroo Valley. We stayed here for Christmas and also visited The Good Shepherd Anglican Church on Christmas day. The staff at Wylds are delightful. The check-in was seamless and they looked after our changed needs with a free upgrade. So thoughtful. The coffee is smooth and the chef is friendly. The recently renovated rooms are large and very comfortable. The courtyard, you will see from the photos, is delightful. I highly recommend staying here.

Room is clean and spacious, lighting is well done. Overall vibe is good. Staff is super nice and gave us free room upgrade and late checkout on a weekday in mid-November - I can tell in hotel's underground parking lot that it's not busy. In the morning, I saw a young staff wiping/cleaning a section of the common area with a smile - the place is well taken care of. I enjoyed it very much. We did kayak tour nearby and this is a wonderful place to stay, will visit again.

We spent a night for our wedding anniversary and we were very happy with the room, dinner and breakfast. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean.. Food and wine in the restaurant was high quality and delicious. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, even went out of their way to get me avocado as they had run out for breakfast. We highly recommend Wildes hotel and restaurant, we will definitely be going back.

Disappointing stay, especially given the significantly higher Valentine’s Day rate. While we had made a prior enquiry about early check-in due to a wedding, communication around this was very unclear and disorganised - and in the end we were not accommodated despite there being many other rooms available early. However, the main issue was the room itself. The room we were allocated was very small and basic for the price charged, with an unusual layout (large accessible bathroom and minimal other amenities). The fridge was dirty and the milk provided had already been opened, which was unacceptable. There appeared to be other rooms available, so it was difficult to understand why we were given what felt like one of the least appealing options at a premium price. The overall service felt fairly indifferent rather than welcoming or helpful. For the rate paid, we expected better cleanliness, presentation and overall service.
