Wooli is a gorgeous village that remains untouched by the stresses of everyday life, sitting at the end of a narrow peninsula between the ocean and the Wooli Wooli River. This quiet coastal location is a water-lover's paradise, with many beautiful spots to spend your days.
Wooli Holiday Park sits across from the banks of the Wooli Wooli River, with a laidback, old-school camping feel. Walk to the beach, local shops, and the Bowling Club, feeling like a child once again exploring this scenic destination on foot.
The park offers a variety of powered sites, many with river views. There is an open communal camp kitchen, and the sites are generously sized to accommodate a range of different vans and vehicles.
The village of Wooli has a bowling club/restaurant, hotel, and several stores to buy your groceries, hardware, fuel, bait and ice. There's also a post office, café, newsagent and tennis court.
Spent the ‘Australia Day’ long weekend there andddd it was amazing. We had a powered site right across the road from the water, it was so lovely waking up to the water daily. Such a great spot/area for all to enjoy, so many things to do there such as walking, cycling, sun bathing, swimming, boating, fishing or relaxing etc… The amenities were awesome! One of the best we have seen at a camp ground. Best of all the Cafe and Bait Shop was less than 100m away from the camp👍🏼😃 It is a gem of a camp ground and we can’t wait to go back and stay longer.👌 Thanks for having us👋🏽
Our recent stay at Wooli Holiday Park was nothing short of amazing. The highlight was undoubtedly the stunning riverfront view, which offered a serene and picturesque backdrop to our entire trip. Situated literally between the ocean/beach & river we were so lucky to wake up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sunset over the water every evening was a truly magical experience. The staff at the park were equally impressive… friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The park itself was spotless, with well-maintained facilities. Every aspect of the park, from the amenities to the landscaping, was meticulously cared for, making our stay comfortable and worry-free. Also VERY pet friendly and there isn’t much around so be prepared food & supplies wise etc. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, wonderful people, and top-notch facilities, Wooli holiday park is worth every penny. p.s $5 schooners at the bowls club & they serve excellent food.
Powered River site. Excellent location, private, treed, artificial turf. There is plenty of room for caravan and car. A nice touch was the available picnic table that appears in most sites. Amenities were clean and in good order. Great place for families with the varied pools/sandpits/ninja area, etc. Would definitely go back again
Staff were lovely. Amenities are older but clean and well cared for. River and beach are a stones throw. Generally a quite area with limited traffic after 8pm. Good place for a pit stop for vans. Location.... sandwiched between 2 'main' roads, without a fence between you and the road. Not ideal with small children when cars fly past. Also could leave to easy theft of belongings (signs everywhere about locking things up). Sites are close together. My suggestion as a starter...get some fences that can be opened as needed & plant some trees for both shade and screening
Situated between the ocean and the river, this is a great location for wandering the beach or river front, tossing in a line or going for a swim or kayak. Very clean amenities, comprehensive camp kitchen, well priced laundry and very friendly staff. Bowling club a short stroll away. Recommend and will visit again.
