The Saltwater Freshwater Festival is an Aboriginal Cultural Festival held on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Led entirely by Indigenous voices, their festival celebrates the living cultures of the four nations, Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Biripi and Worimi that make up the Mid North Coast of NSW, celebrating in a different community each year.
More than just a First Nations festival, they are a powerful, year-round movement dedicated to celebrating survival, empowering the next generation, and creating a space for true unity. This year, Saltwater Freshwater Festival will be held in Coffs Harbour, with the theme Reflect. Respect. Celebrate. – The Next Generation Rising. They invite all communities to join them for an inclusive, family-friendly day of culture, music, dance, art, lifestyle and culinary talent.
