










Their most extensive Victorian High Country tour allows plenty of time to venture into the heart of the Alpine National Park and have back-to-back days of trying out all different types of remote bush terrain in between discovering the rich history of the various huts in the area. This tour is four days with a medium rating, with some difficult sections. The tour covers around 400 kilometres in total, with daily distances about 100 kilometres. The tour begins with meeting at Licola outside the General Store at 8:15 AM for an 8:30 AM start. Head for Jamison Hut and camp somewhere near there for the first night. On day 2, head for Bluff Hut, and then on to Lovick's Hut. Camp along the King Billy Track. On day 3, head for Guy's Hut, Howitt Hut and McMichael's Hut. Next, head for Kelly's Hut. There may be an opportunity to walk to Pieman's Falls, but it depends on the weather. Camp in this region night three. On day 4, travel to Mount Wellington, and up to Miller's Hut and on to Moroka Hut. Next, head back towards Valencia Creek, from where people can depart, and make their way home.
