Located conveniently on the Western Highway, Gold Rush Mini Golf’s Two 18 hole fully licensed themed golf courses are accessible for all ages yet fun and challenging for all skill levels.
Venture through the indoor course in the world of the dinosaurs, walk the castle hallways of medieval times and glow in the dark tunnels and pay a visit to the Caribbean pirate hideouts as you play 18 fun filled holes of mini-golf on the indoor course.
The outdoor fully themed course celebrates the Ballarat history of the Gold Rush from the nineteenth century with facades and props throughout. Each hole has a historic plaque descriptor and gives players facts about the town settlement, the miners, discoveries of gold and of course, the famous story of Eureka.
Gold Rush Golf offers endless catering and function options. Both Mini Golf courses are licensed and The Cabaret Club room is equipped with a full production sound system, stage, lighting, projector and screen and boasts a quality lineup of entertainment. The cafe offers hot food and they are fully licensed.
Good venue with indoor and outdoor mini golf.
There are other activities and games for kids as well as a function centre.
The staff were relatively young - there were only about 5 or 6 groups playing mini golf inside and we all seemed to be on the same few holes rather than splitting us up across the front and back 9.
All in all worth visiting.

Outdoor course is poorly maintained, with new rough plastic grass over the top of original turf.
Edges are rounded, often leading to balls flying away.
It’s a quaint looking venue, but that’s about it.
Inside glow in the dark is quite literally too dark to see the slopes of the courses.
The dinosaurs gimmick sounds good in theory, until you get blasted with horrible noises pulled straight from Jurassic Park out of tiny speakers.
Little sensors around the course set off various “trap” noises and sounds are frankly just bad.
They’re not scary, or fun.
The inside is also very warm, compared to outside that was lovely and fresh.
Overall, the venue is not a very sensory friendly experience.
Definitely needs some love and care.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Cost was about average for what it is.

Wow! Wow! Wow 😳! A superb mini-golf experience that's a fun way to spend a few hours playing the indoor and outdoor courses. Both courses offer holes with variety in their construction, and just enough of a challenge to feel any hole in ones have been earned. There is also plenty to look at, and read, as you traverse the courses.
The whole place is very welcoming and the staff I chatted with on my visit certainly valued my custom.
So go take this fabulous attraction for a test drive when you get the chance to, and get ready to fudge your scorecard 😳😂.

Four of us played indoor and out door holes and enjoyed a meal afterwards.
The service was great, helpful and friendly.
The holes were really well maintained and entertaining. They also had arcade games which were fun.
