King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre

King Parrot Cottages is an amazing place to stay. The property itself is spacious, quiet and nestled into the bush, making it easy for us to relax into our stay straight away. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was a great size for our group of ten, with everything we needed for making big meals . We had a brilliant multi-generational stay, with a lovely pool that looks over paddocks (which was an absolute highlight, for our January stay) as well as some great bushwalks and a number of beautiful towns only a short drive away, with cafes and restaurants. It is a few weeks since we stayed here for the second time, but I wanted to make sure I left a review as this place has something special about it and we will be back for sure. Maybe for a winter stay next time, and some longer bush walks and adventure riding!

What a wonderful weekend we had at King Parrot. We used the Lodge & Mannagum cottage to accommodate 24 adults. We are a mother's group who got together to celebrate their 21 year olds birthday. The accomodation was well appointed, very clean and well laid out. Sensational sweeping views from the lodge verandah, where we all gathered to have drinks or sit and enjoy breakfast. Games room was a bonus and lots of fun, plus everyone enjoyed a beautiful walk through the bush. Kitchen had everything we needed...and more. The 21 year olds loved it, as they had lots to occupy them...including the swimming pool. We had the best weekend & nothing was too much trouble for Ryan & Nicole to assist us. Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a Peer Support Group retreat at King Parrot Cottages, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we drove onto the property, I felt an overwhelming sense of tranquility and bliss welcoming us. The journey itself was a preview of the serene experience that awaited. The accommodations are truly exceptional. Each cottage is beautifully designed, offering a harmonious blend of comfort and nature that creates a peaceful atmosphere. The stunning surroundings are breathtaking—lush greenery and picturesque views make it a perfect backdrop for reflection and connection. Additionally, the Lodge provided a flexible and inviting space that facilitated our diverse sessions beautifully. Whether we were engaging in workshop activities or more intimate discussions, the Lodge's design and layout accommodated everything seamlessly. Every attendee raved about the cottages' charm and the Lodge's versatility, noting how it significantly enhanced our retreat experience. It truly felt like a sanctuary where we could unwind and focus on our growth and connections with one another. In essence, our time at King Parrot Cottages was pure perfection. I can't express how eager I am to return for another retreat in this stunning setting!

Returned guests! My husband and I absolutely love King Parrot Cottages. The property and cottages have a romantic feel, making it the perfect escape from reality, to just slow down, relax and unwind. We bring our young child and pets, but we appreciate the peace and quiet the location provides and the abundance of land, activities and birdlife to explore! The property and accommodation are both all very well maintained and modern. The owners are friendly and respectful, especially if you travel with pets! I don't usually leave reviews but King Parrot is a favourite destination - a hidden gem, that needs to be discovered!
