We had the most incredible experience with Montsalvat for our wedding, and we’re so grateful to Jess, Andrea, and the entire team for everything they did to make our day so special.
From the planning stages right through to the wedding night itself, the team was so helpful, organised, and supportive. They made the whole process feel seamless and were always there to answer questions, help coordinate details, and ensure everything came together beautifully.
The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Montsalvat is such a unique and stunning place, and it created the most magical setting for our day. Everything looked incredible, and the setup exceeded all our expectations.
On the night, the staff were amazing, so attentive, friendly, and professional. We felt so well looked after, and so did our guests. A very special thank you to Andrea for her incredible attention to detail and genuine care throughout the evening. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we were taken care of every step of the way.
We’re especially grateful for Andrea’s kindness the following day as well, when I realised I had left something valuable behind at the venue. Her care, responsiveness, and willingness to help meant so much to us and was so deeply appreciated.
Thank you again to Jess, Andrea, and the whole Montsalvat team for creating such an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue and we’ll always look back on our wedding at Montsalvat so fondly. 🤍

Such a fascinating(and family-friendly)space! There is so much to see, admire and be intrigued by(see photos!). We didnt linger long in café area but our drinks and view of grounds from our table were great. Exploring was fun and having the pleasure of finding various small artisan shops and artistic exhibitions an extra bonus. We even caught a teeny bit of a wedding! The buildings scattered about the grounds are architecturally fascinating and we loved the pool- oh to have been able to have a dip! 12/10 and thanks for a beautiful day out!

I had my wedding ceremony here 2 weeks ago and I still can't get over it. When I first visited this venue, I was amazed at how such a beautiful place could exist in Melbourne. It looks as though it's been plucked straight out of the European country side. Montsalvat is genuinely perfect for a wedding! If you want your wedding look dreamy, romantic, whimsical and cinematic this place is IT! there's so many beautiful locations for not only photos, but also for your guests to wander around during the wedding. Also big shout out to Jessica who was coordinating my wedding. She was absolutely incredible, such a calming presence to communicate with leading up to the wedding in stressful times. She made everything so so easy. She gave us a lovely tour of the venue when we inquired and told us all about the history of Montsalvat. Id also like to thank Elise, who was the coordinator on the wedding day, she was delightful and was right there helping me with my veil and dress when we were all running around Montsalvat during the bridal portraits. It was such a huge help and so very kind of her, especially as I didn't have a bridal party there to help me either. So I appreciate Jessica and Elise so very much!
And how wonderful it is knowing that my husband and I can come back on future wedding anniversaries and visit the place we got married. One day we will even be able to bring our children. That makes it so special to me.

We went here for my birthday and booked the tour in advance. Unfortunately, the tour guide wasn’t very good, and we got a bit bored, but since they were a volunteer, it wasn’t bad for a volunteer.
The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, if you’d like to experience a bit of a European vibe, I definitely recommend visiting. I just wish they took better care of the buildings, as it was pretty obvious they don’t receive much special maintenance.
As for the café, I expected there to be more café options. The main café we visited was very small and extremely ordinary. With a bit more attention and improvement, this place could be truly amazing.

A truly unique and beautiful place to visit! Montsalvat has a magical, historic charm with its stunning architecture and peaceful surroundings. Walking around feels like stepping into another world, especially with the old stone buildings and artistic atmosphere.
It’s a great place to explore, take photos, and enjoy art and culture. The exhibitions and creative vibe make it even more special. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something different and inspiring! 🎨✨
