Located in the heart of the Victorian Goldfields, Macedon Ranges and Spa Country, 80 minutes from Melbourne CBD, RACV Goldfields Resort is a countryside retreat perfectly situated to soak up the region's history, arts, culture and outdoor activities. The resort offers a full range of facilities to accommodate members and guests travelling for both business and leisure including; a restaurant and bar, extensive meeting rooms and function rooms, tennis courts, gymnasium, heated outdoor swimming pool, mountain biking trails and bike storage, and a Tony Cashmore designed 18-hole Championship golf course.
On property, there is also Urban Grocer, where you can stock up on a range of local gourmet treats and ArtHouse, a multipurpose building for exhibitions, workshops, and artist residencies.
Positioned between Daylesford and Ballarat, the resort is surrounded by attractions including Sovereign Hill, Creswick Woollen Mills, Art Gallery of Ballarat, Ballarat Wildlife Park, Kryal Castle, Goldfields Track, as well as the natural springs and day spas of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs and a range of local markets and festivals.

Fairway Room
Choose a fairway room for two king beds, a two-person spa bath, a separate shower and a balcony. One of the king beds can be made up as twin king-single beds, making this option ideal for a family. This room also includes a Nespresso coffee machine, robes and slippers, and television casting. Accessible rooms are limited and available upon request.
Premium Fairway Suite
Revel in the extra luxury of a premium fairway suite which features a king bed in an open-plan room, a two-person spa bath overlooking the balcony for views of the golf course and Creswick State Forest, and a separate lounge area with a gas log fire. The suite is semi self-contained with a small kitchenette.

This was our first time staying at the RACV resort in Creswick. 1. Disabled parking close to the front entrance. 2. A very friendly welcome at reception. 3. We had been upgraded! 4. Our room was huge, spotlessly clean with good quality linen and a view to die for. 5. The meal in the restaurant was delicious. We usually stay in Timeshare with a full kitchen but it was a change to sit back and be waited on. I have a birthday in October so we have booked another 3 nights. Why not!!😊

We haven't even yet checked into the property, however I would like to leave a 5-star review for the fantastic customer service already provided to us prior to our visit this weekend. Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to modify the dates of our booking, and property manager Elisa could not have been more accommodating of our request, and went above and beyond in ensuring that everything is in place for our stay. We are truly grateful and can't wait to visit!

I haved stayed here at the resort a few times. Latest one was back in April 2026. Every stayed was perfect. Great and friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good variety offer for breakfast. My son enjoyed the game room and the pool. Initially booked for resort room, but got upgraded to fairway room. Didn't realise this until I made another booking for the next visit. Family members are coming from overseas and already booked for another there. Looking forward to it.

This place is made for families. Great for exploring Ballarat and Daylesford. Great rooms and excellent service as can be expected from an RACV resort. Terrific buffet brekky for the entire family. Book your dinner in advance to avoid disappointment. No microwave in rooms by default. Comfy beds and all amenities to keep the entire family happy. Been here multiple times. Highly recommend.

A wonderful get away location, rooms were comfortable, sparkling clean with a spa bath and a fabulous view of tree canopies and the setting sun. Staff were friendly, professional and service was attentive. The Buffet Breakfast was a treat, and I met many other guests who were all friendly, nice people. The surrounding countryside is dear to my heart and the towns of Creswick, Clunes, Daylesford all within driving distance as well as it being a good place to explore Ballarat from. Being only 1-5hr from Melbourne its accessible and definitely some where I want to return to. The 3-night package rate and my RACV membership discount made it great value for me. I used it as a retreat to heal and nurture myself following illness and even in the midst of Winter it was cozy, warm, peaceful, inviting and it gave me just what I needed.
