Hillgrove Pottery Studio and Gallery

The stunning colours in all of Susans' creations is something to behold. My dinner guests not only comment consistently on her impressive glazes, but also the practicality of her pieces . Derek and Susan have a beautiful studio and are the perfect hosts. I highly recommend Hillgrove Pottery to anyone who is looking for a unique, quality, handmade pottery.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Hillgrove Pottery yesterday afternoon. I called in to Susan and Derek's home and studio unannounced (on my way from Tumut to Canberra) and received such a friendly welcome from them both. They showed me around their studio, explaining everything as we went and I was able to see the fully loaded kiln all ready for firing. A visit to the gallery revealed some truly gorgeous pieces - and of course I couldn't resist purchasing some of their lovely work! Love it! Their prices are excellent. Truly lovely people and a fantastic experience! :)

Susan and Derek are such lovely people. I would highly recommend booking in and doing a pottery class with them. Super knowledgeable, easy going and will go the extra length to make sure you enjoy yourself. They organised such an amazing time for me and my partner (anniversary surprise), we both loved it. Fabulous handcrafted pottery, just love the unique designs and colours that Susan creates. My favourite colour is Bushfire, I have brought numerous pieces from Hillgrove Pottery for myself and as gifts. Highly recommend
