I booked this accommodation for a long weekend getaway with my family, but unfortunately, it turned into a very disappointing experience. The property is not centrally located, yet the pricing is similar to accommodations much closer to the beach, which already felt unreasonable. However, the main issue during our stay was a prolonged power outage that lasted for more than half of our visit. We requested a refund and offered to leave early, but the staff assured us the issue would be resolved within a few hours. Unfortunately, the power was out for the entire day and into the night, leaving us with no choice but to stay, as traveling back to Melbourne late at night with children was not a safe option. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff and management. As soon as we raised the issue, their initially friendly and helpful behavior changed completely. They became rude, and even the manager was unprofessional when speaking to my partner over the phone. With no resolution in sight, we were forced to check out early the next morning, while the power outage was still ongoing. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. The property is far from the town center, the staff behavior was unacceptable, and the lack of power made it feel unsafe. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Do not book this stay !!! Absolutely unacceptable experience. We had a complete power outage from 8:00am through the entire day and into the evening, which made the property completely unliveable no lights, no ability to charge devices and no access to basic facilities that you are paying for. By night, the situation became even worse. The property was left in complete darkness, which felt unsafe and extremely uncomfortable a very unsettling experience in unfamiliar accommodation. What made the situation worse was the behaviour of both the manager ANGELA and the receptionist GRACE . Instead of showing any professionalism or concern, they were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. There was no clear communication, no effort to resolve the issue and no accountability. At one point, when we explained that we were unable to cook due to the power outage, we were told to “go out and eat.” This kind of response was not only unhelpful but completely inappropriate it is not the guest’s responsibility to work around a failure to provide basic services. We had cut short the trip and leave midnight to Melbourne because the stay felt more scary. To make matters worse, despite the property being unusable for the entire day, no refund or compensation was offered. A property that cannot provide basic utilities, leaves guests in complete darkness and treats them this way should not be in the hospitality business. Strongly do not recommend. Avoid this place.

I would absolutely not come back here as the rooms were filthy, dirty and disgusting. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, the manger there Angela was rude and unprofessional. It was like she wanted us to leave and was extremely condescending to my family and was no help at all when I asked for the rooms to be cleaned. My experience here was absolutely unpleasant and horrible because the way the staff treated me especially Angela and how disrespectful she was to us. We payed for a room to stay in not be treated like this. I would absolutely not come back here from my experience and the state of the rooms and staff.

Booked a 2-day stay here, expecting a relaxing family getaway—but it turned out to be one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. On the second day of our stay, the power went out around 8:30–9:00 AM and wasn’t restored until late at night (around 10:00–10:30 PM). This meant we were left without electricity for almost the entire day, which was extremely inconvenient—especially as we were traveling with two young children aged 5 and 8. We made multiple calls throughout the day requesting a refund, which felt like the most reasonable resolution given the situation. However, the property manager declined and instead offered a $150 dinner voucher, which did not come close to compensating for the disruption we experienced. What was even more disappointing was the response we received. While we were given repeated updates saying the issue would be resolved “soon” (with no clear timeframe), we were also asked questions like, “What would you have done if you were at home?” and “It’s a sunny day—wouldn’t you be out instead of staying indoors?” These responses were completely inappropriate. We paid for a comfortable stay, and how we choose to spend our time should not be questioned. To make matters worse, the power briefly returned for about two hours, only to go out again. The following morning, there was still no power. Despite having a check-out time of 11 AM, we left as early as possible because the situation had become unbearable. What was meant to be a peaceful break with family turned into a frustrating and stressful experience. Lack of electricity on entire day, along with poor customer service and a dismissive attitude, made this stay deeply disappointing. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
