I thoroughly enjoyed my time training with WhiteStar Aviation. From day one, it was like being par of a close knit community. It was evident that every instructor shared the same goal, to support the development of competence and confidence within every student and their flying abilities. The care and support from each team member, from our incredible student coordinator to the dedicated instructors and passionate school heads, made the experience feel genuine. The team are invested in developing safe and experienced pilots, not just pushing them through. I personally had some areas that required repeated lessons, but the continued attentiveness of the team meant I was able to stay focused and get through those areas and continue progressing, which I am so grateful for. The generosity of knowledge and information shared by the team also made the entire experience far richer, whether it was theory, flying or even career related. I found that generosity to be particularly valuable, especially when as students we are learning so much and still navigating ideas and concepts and even career paths. No question was ever too basic, complex or far fetched. The cadet program is in itself so valuable. To be lucky enough to have a job at the end of your training (provided you met the expected standards) was highly motivating and pushed me to continue to work hard towards the end goal and my future career. I can proudly say I’ve officially started my career as a commercial pilot, working and flying for an amazing company who partnered with WhiteStar. It’s clear that the school is continuing to grow, which is exciting. I highly recommend WhiteStar Aviation to anyone who is serious about seeking a career in aviation. If you are dedicated to putting in the work, you’ll be in the best and safest hands.
