Lismore Regional Gallery has been a cornerstone of cultural life in the Northern Rivers region for over seventy years. As one of the longest-running art institutions in NSW, the gallery has consistently championed the transformative power of art.
Their work encompasses exhibitions and presenting contemporary art across all disciplines, commissioning new works, curating inclusive and dynamic public programs, and caring for and reinterpreting a growing permanent collection. They foster innovation and progressive risk-taking to captivate the audience and deepen community connection to contemporary art.

Lovely gallery - there were a couple exhibits on when we visited last week. Good idea to have a look online to see what is there, as one day we went midweek and they were swapping exhibits over so we missed out...but the website is very informative!

I loved visiting Lismore Regional Gallery over the weekend. The exhibitions featuring diverse local and international artists is a unique offering for a regional city. The restoration of the building makes it feel like a contemporary art gallery with so much potential. The layout is perfect for the presentation of art and exhibitions. Well worth the visit! Lismore town is awesome too - incredible recovery after the 2022 floods.

We had a fantastic day at the Lismore regional gallery. Spent hours walking the gallery and finding out about the artists. They had the Archibald portraits entries for last year which was incredible. Also had local children send in their portraits which was a great touch. Great space. Would certainly recommend

Nice staff which helped engagement of children by offering activities. Went for Santa photos but visited all exhibits which I would consider average.
