One of the most memorable experiences of my life - breathtaking scenery as a backdrop to watching wild platypus go about their business up close!! Max was a brilliant guide, telling us all about the area, its history and wildlife. Cannot recommend this more highly - the closest you can get to a guaranteed sighting of a platypus !

We had a great dusk tour with Ruby! She was so knowledgeable and great guide. We saw so many platypus! On the walk back, we saw heaps of glow worms as well. As an added bonus, when we were leaving the carpark, we saw a Koala making his way across the road. 10/10 experience! The walk from the carpark to the lake can be a bit steep in places, as well as slippery and muddy if it has rained. Wear appropriate shoes, and warm clothes!

Incredible experience - the lake is beautiful, peaceful and calm in the early morning. We saw loads of platypus, including a juvenile that swam right up to the canoe. The tour guide, Max, is awesome and has loads of great facts. It's like being inside a tranquil Werner Herzog documentary
