Werribee Park Heritage Orchard is situated in the picturesque surroundings of the historical Werribee Park Mansion, Werribee Open Range Zoo and Werribee River.
It is run solely by volunteers and provides horticultural training in preserving, growing and selling rare and heritage fruit trees. Volunteers experience and develop hands-on skills in grafting, pruning, tree planting, fruit picking and tasting, and nursery and orchard maintenance.
Open for fruit tree sales on Fridays and at fruit tree festivals held throughout the year. There's much to see, so take your time to look around.

Visited twice to this orchard on Sunday evening but unfortunately found it closed, not sure what exact days and time they open, maybe on weekdays? Looks like a good place to visit inside.

I didn't need a tour on the day but it would've been helpful. Otherwise, a very tidy and intriguing property.

People are nice, but its a bit a guessing game where to go and how to access. Its not so clear.

Volunteers meet on Friday mornings. Orchard has a fantastic array of heritage varieties especially of apples and stone fruit.
