Kosciuszko Discovery Centre is 12 kilometres from Jindabyne and located near Sawpit Creek picnic area. It's a wonderful place to learn about Australian wildlife, national parks and their natural landscapes. The centre provides guided tours and educational programs for people of all ages.

If you're planning to visit the area please contact the centre to book a guided tour. Depending on the time of year, you could join a mountain pygmy-possum adventure or explore enchanted mountain streams. Sub-alpine environments hold many wonders for the family to experience. There are tiny plants, tall gum trees and little creatures to astound you. You may even see grey kangaroos, wallabies, echidna, reptiles and birds.
