Johanna River Farm and Self Contained Cottages offer a farm stay experience in a beautiful setting amid the magic of the Great Ocean Road and Otway National Park.

The accommodation options include a secluded one bedroom spa cottage or family two bedroom self-contained and fully equipped cottages. All cottages are equipped with every comfort - woodfire, reverse cycle aircon, fully equipped kitchen, queen size master bedrooms and on site hosts.

Guests are welcome to explore the 280 acre farm; meet friendly farm animals, pick fruit and herbs from the orchard and guests produce garden (seasonal), collect eggs from the chickens, birdwatch, or explore fern gullies and bushwalk along the river. Guests can also go on Torchlight walks under big starry skies to view the glow worms in the fern gully.

The accommodation is situated midway on the Great Ocean Walk and located between Apollo Bay and the 12 Apostles. Central to all the highlights of the Otway National Park, a range of attractions are within an easy scenic drive and wild and rugged Johanna Beach is just down the road. Some of the nearby attractions include the Otway Fly Tree Top walk, waterfalls and fern gullies of the cool temperate rain forest, and the glow-worms at Melba Gully are a great night time attraction.

Bluegum Cottage

Bluegum Cottage is a cosy one bedroom hide-away for a couple or twin share with ocean views from your bed, lounge and veranda. This cottage can also be configured for small families with maximum capacity for two adults and one child or one adult and two children (queen size master bed and one single bed or portacot). Fully equipped with all the comforts.

Blackwood and Teatree Cottage

Each of the two bedroom cottages can cater for up to five people (maximum). Equipped with all the comforts, they are ideal for families and/or friends seeking a private, comfortable place from which to explore the farm and this wonderful region. Queen size master bedroom, second bedroom with single and upper and lower bunk bed, open plan dining area, lounge area, fully equipped kitchen, shower recess bathroom and laundry. Reverse cycle air conditioning, wood fire heating, television, library, binoculars, games, onsite hosts, and advise and recommendations on making the most of your stay/touring the region.

The Acacia Cottage

Newly renovated and refurbished. Ideal for a single or couple seeking a private and secluded location. Fully self contained, wood fire, air conditioning, and equipped with every comfort. The Acacia Cottage has a queen size bedroom, and bathroom with corner spa. Located on a private part of the farm, in a valley, on the banks of a large dam, with an elevated veranda looking out over the farm to the ocean, forest and surrounding countryside. Small pets are allowed by prior arrangement only.
