Explore Currambene Creek – without getting your feet wet!
The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Gallery enjoys a waterfront location on Currambene Creek. Positioned in a beautiful bush setting in Jervis Bay, the complex includes a large recreation area with native gardens and a beautiful mangrove boardwalk.
The 1.4 kilometre Mangrove Boardwalk has just received a full refurbishment, which means it's even easier to get up close to the mangroves, birds and sea creatures living in this beautiful patch of marine sanctuary. Watch out for crabs, pelicans and fish – you might even see a stingray!
A beautiful attraction which is wheelchair accessible and can be enjoyed by the whole family, all year round.
This attraction is free to access and enjoy.

A very well maintained and go to place for naval history buffs. A reflection of how ordinary Australians made a mark years ago and gave meaning to an unknown place. Also a ferry built in Jervis bay is still maintained and valued as a piece of history. Volunteers dedicate their time in reception area. A cute souvenir shop as well

Great Museum and Market on a Saturday. No being from Nsw or a coastal city, it was great to get some insight into how people moved across Sydney harbour before the bridge. Nice little park outside for younger kids to play and feed the fish.
