About

Due to its array of vibrant colours, 'Hartvale' has been dubbed the 'paint box garden'. It is nestled on five enchanting acres at the base of Mount York with stunning mountain and valley views in the village of Hartley NSW. Predominantly cottage and perennial gardens, the grounds also contain a potager garden, cute hothouse, walled garden and art studio. Designed by a builder and an oil painter, these whimsical gardens have true heart and soul with vivid splashes of colour, movement and a true sense of joy. Hartvale Gardens have been featured on Gardening Australia and Better Homes and Gardens and Farmer Wants A Wife television shows as well as various garden publications. The gardens are open and at their best various times during spring and autumn.
