Blue Lagoon Resort

I have stayed at Blue Lagoon resort 5 times. (which tells a story). The location is perfect and a quick uber trip from the airport. There are many top quality restaurants within walking distance. Coles deliver ~ so you can get your groceries delivered easily too. Brigit, Brian and Maya are the managers and extremely helpful ~ excellent customer service. The rooms vary; but are all well maintained with amenities required for your stay. Both pools are nice. I’ve used both. The lap pool is usually quiet. The grounds are well secured and clean. wifi has been upgraded; but my advice is to put your phone away and take it all in. The gardens and local wildlife make you feel very relaxed. I spend most of my time at the resort.

A wonderful place to stay. Great location, and very close to the beach and Cairns. Was clean and tidy and the rooms are lovely and spacious. The pool was a perfect temperature. Very close to the restaurants in Trinity Beach. They have a tennis court and another pool and to walk there we saw beautiful wildlife. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Lagoon Resort. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two bedroom apartment (even though we didn't touch the 2nd room). It kicked off our stay with a positive feel. Our room looked out onto the Lagoon which was nice. The pool was lovely. Its temperature was spot- on for a pleasant afternoon dip and its cleanliness (as were all the outdoor areas) were great. The location was also very handy. A short stroll to the beach or to the local bars and restaurants meant we didn't need to use our car unless we travelled out of Trinity Beach. We'd definitely try and stay there again if we return to the Cairns area. Thankyou!

We had a great stay at Blue Lagoon Resort. I cancelled the reservation inadvertently via the booking app who refused to reinstate my paid booking. Within an hour I contacted Blue Lagoon directly and told her the mistake I made. Bridget was very kind to reinstate it for me. I was very grateful that Bridget did not only reinstate the reservation but also upgraded us to a three-bedroom apartment which we enjoyed sooo much. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very spacious, stylishly furnished with a spectacular view of the lagoon. The location is excellent as it's close to Trinity beach and restaurants. We would definitely come back and would stay at Blue Lagoon Resort again as there are so much to do in Cairns. Thank you Bridget, you made our holiday sooo special.
