Charm City Motel

The hotel and staff were great! Only downfall was we couldn't get one of the aircons working properly but that did not bother us or affect our stay there. We would definitely stay there again.

Exceptional Hospitality and Outstanding Service! I had the pleasure of staying at Charm City Motel in Bundaberg, and I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible service provided by the manager. From the moment I arrived, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and stress-free. Her warm and welcoming attitude made me feel at home, and her genuine care for guests was evident in every interaction. Whether it was providing local recommendations, accommodating special requests, or simply checking in to see if everything was perfect, she handled everything with professionalism and kindness. It’s rare to find such dedicated service, and I truly appreciate the effort she puts into making every guest’s experience memorable. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Bundaberg, Charm City Motel is an excellent choice—thanks to its wonderful manager who truly understands hospitality! Highly recommended!

We were so disappointed with the service we received from Charm City Motel. We would not recommend. Rooms had a weird smell but by 3.30am it was a strong septic smell. Which was sickening. We left so early in the morning to escape it. The toilet didn't work properly. We had to keep fixing the system. Shower taps were backwards, so when my child went to turn the off the got scoulded instead of turning it off. This is a major health and safety issue. Managers were rude and lacked any genuine customer service. This was the worst service I have ever received. I will never forget it. Our trip was ruined because of our experience. I will never return or recommend this accommodation facility. I read other reviews after my experience and I can confirm the same experience. The fact this room was on par with other facilities.. it was well below the quality you would expect. Anywhere would be better. Don't waste your money.

Looks can be deceiving. We are from Hervey Bay and had an appointment with a medical Specialist in Bundy late yesterday afternoon and decided we would stay overnight, so booked and paid for a twin room here. We dumped our bags and while waiting for the appointment time,as you do, checked the room out only to find Years of accumulated dust on the hidden bed head lights above the pillows and on looking found further dust in the corners and other places as well. Not a clean room at all. We kept our appointment only to be told we had to be at a Hervey Day Hospital early next morning making it difficult if we stayed overnight. We asked the motel people if we could cancel and get a refund. The answer was NO as because we had been in the room it could not be let again and would have to be cleaned next day ( all we did in the room was sit on the bed). We left , leaving the room exactly as we found it losing our $165.30 which I now find is dearer than their advertised price. We rate the rooms as very dated, FILTHY, and definitely not value for money. YOU NEED A NEW CLEANER
