Mid North Coast Paintball

Made a booking on short notice and the experience was great. Lots of fun

Amazing staff that are not afraid to join in with ya when challenged, best fields and love to see the place upgrading every time I come back. Would recommend this over all other arenas 😍

Good, But markers that were constantly breaking down and service for said weapons was inadequate or failed to fix the problems for more than one individual. Ref was not welcoming to new players and was both incredibly condescending and patronising towards younger players. Ref didn't ensure proper fitting of masks and didn't inform younger players of trigger discipline, only ridiculed them when they accidentally discharged their marker. Overall not the most pleasant experience. Would be a much better place to go to if you had your own gear and didn't look too young.

My 14 year old and his two friends went for a paintball session for a birthday party. As they were a small party, they were put in with around 30 other people, using the normal rounds. They had fun for the first round, ducking in and out of bushland, receiving a few shots but brushing it off. After the first round, my son and the other birthday people were told to line up and run through a gauntlet with the other 30 people shooting from closer proximity. My son was wailed on with the high-speed rounds and began to try to shield his body he then went behind a tree to hide. They continued to shoot while he was crouched down visibly upset. He began to hyperventilate and couldn’t breathe. One of the workers stepped in to try to help him but it was too late. He then refused to participate in any further rounds. In what world is that fun for a young person? To be lined up and treated like a target by 30 other people. He is still extremely emotional and embarrassed. This sadistic act should not be included in a young person’s party. He feels like a failure and a wuss and is completely embarrassed in front of his friends. Had we known the details of the “game” before it began, we would have said no. He is covered in large welts ( I am not naive, I know he would get some but the close proximity of the shots was unnecessary). He has been begging to go for years and was so excited when the legal age limit was dropped to 12+. He was offered armour to keep playing but was too overwhelmed. We were given some voucher cards before we left as we had purchased 1000 rounds each, but don’t think we will be able to convince him to return to use them.
