The hotel is centrally located just at the end of the crazy tourist area. Just a couple of blocks and you are in the middle of all the restaurants and bars. I loved how quiet the area is and at the same time a 5 minute walk to everything. My room had an awesome view of the ocean and the rain forest. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, helpful and respectful. The breakfast buffet was good. Lots of choices and they will prepare eggs any way you want them. The lady that works at the excursion desk was fantastic and very helpful with excursion planning. The room was super big. Air conditioning system worked amazing and plenty of hot water in the shower with great water pressure. I loved the balcony! Luse and Anne made me feel at home and super welcomed to Cairns.

The rooms feel a little dated now plus the bathroom arrangement is very cramped. I had shower over bath with a king bed room. The bathroom arrangement is enclosure is very narrow and the fixed glass screen doesn’t really stop the splash from the shower. Water pressure is good. Beds are really comfortable and great pillows. Staff are friendly and helpful. You get standard Hilton service levels. Meets the Doubletree expectations well.

I had a great time at Doubletree Hilton. I checked out today. But I want to really appreciate Bella at the reception who has night duty. She was amazing and guided us so well. The stay was more memorable due her to her. Please team, convey her thanks. Entire staff was very helpful but special thanks to the sweet lady.

We spent three nights here while exploring the Caines area. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful. They allowed us to keep our luggage there while we went on an overnight trip to Divers Den to do some scuba diving on the GBR. Wonderful promo they have too- in lieu of daily room service, we were able to get a free drink at the bar. Daniele and Fabio were very helpful at the bar along with Luse at the main desk. Breakfast was a bit overpriced but convenient.

Just had the privilege of doing the Le Pertete Chef. What an unbelievable experience and the food was cooked and presented nothing short of excellence. As a Cairns local I can say that it is a rare experience to have such fine dining here. Well done to the chefs and wait staff. Your attention to detail helped make this a memorable moment. We have already discussed doing this again.
