Grand Overland 4x4 Tours - Sunshine Coast

We had a wonderful day as a group of five (Craig, a lovely couple, my friend, and I). Craig is a kind, humorous & very caring guide who navigated us safely past the rising tide. Throughout the tour, he shared fascinating facts about nature and showed us some amazing spots. At the lighthouse, we were even able to watch dolphins through binoculars! The Dreamtime story at Rainbow Beach was beautifully staged and we were well taken care of the whole time 😋. Craig earns my deepest respect for his caring nature - one participant was partially paralyzed after a stroke and Craig did everything he could to make sure he had just as wonderful an experience as the rest of us. It was truly heartwarming and amazing ♡! Thank you for this incredible nature experience ♡! The trip was worth every cent!

My husband and I had an amazing time experiencing a private tour with Craig. Incredible views driving up Cooloola beach, morning tea and lunch at Rainbow Beach, a breathtaking place. Lots of stops along the way. Lots of water and air wildlife to see. We had a great time! We would highly recommend Great Beach Drive 4WD to others.

Today we were on the most wonderful trip along the coastal beach with Craig. We were amazed by the beauty of the Rainbow Beach and fantastic colours of the Coloured Sands. It' amazing what a wonder can Nature create. There were probably about 70 shades of colours from white, yellow, orange, brown and almost red. We also were hypnotized by the view from the Double Point Lighthouse. And very essential detail was that Craig has a permit to drive to the Lighthouse freeing you from the long climb up the hill. From the highest point at the Lighthouse we saw 20 dolphins at the same time near the shore. It was a real dolphin show you will not be able to see in any specialized Dolphin Center! They swam so gracefully and were seen for a very long time . On another side of this place there were about 5 turtles splashing in waves and it was very interesting to watch them rise up to take a breath of air and fall down to feed. We saw several huge eagles flying in circles around and watching for prey. Other types of birds also greated us on our trip. I probably needed to start my review from the trip arrangement and the person who arranged all this fairytale for us. It's Craig, a wonderful person and a very experienced guide. While driving along the beach he told us a lot of interesting information about flora and fauna, history and geography of the place. He seems to know everything and has the answer to any of your questions. The trip was arranged very profoundly. Craig took into consideration all details from the tide chats to the places with the best view to stop for taking photos, having morning tea and lunch. Both morning tea and lunch, by the way, were tasty and sufficient and besides the meal itself contained fruit and soft drinks. I would also like to mention that Craig is a very experienced 4WD driver as I guess it was not easy to drive on the patches of dry soft sand. And at the same time his manner of driving was very careful and safe. We enjoyed this trip so much that we will highly recommend it to all our friends and only with this person as a guide.

Absolute highlight of our Noosa holiday. We were picked up from our accommodation and treated to some of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. A great lunch with beer and wine was all included. Highly recommended.
