Hinkler Hall of Aviation is a fascinating and well-presented attraction in Bundaberg. The displays are informative, interactive, and give a great insight into Bert Hinkler’s achievements. It’s definitely worth a visit if you enjoy aviation history or museums
This place is great for young and old. It has interactive displays and I learnt a lot about Hinkler I didn't learn from school. Would recommend. You can buy a pass for 3 different places in the gardens, including Fairymead House and the Historical Museum, it only cost $7 more for us as concession holders.
Situated in the Bundaberg Botanical Gardens, this is a really interesting museum about Bert Hinkler. Bert was an aviation icon who died far too young. Start within the globe as there is a short video about Bert and his life, there are a number of interactive displays so channel your inner child and try them. Entrance also includes Bert’s UK house which they shipped to Australia so do check that out as well as it is a time capsule. I would also buy the three Museum pass and check out the other two places in the gardens as it makes it really cost-effective. Definitely worth doing if visiting Bundaberg.
Absolutely fabulous aviation story & everything on display is first class condition or fully restored a must visit 😀 😊 👍👍
I like this place. It's well equipped and organised. Very interesting historical expo.
