Platinum Highland Farm Experience with Lunch
Join us for a luxurious 2.5-hour small-group experience that blends hands-on farm fun with stunning scenery and regional flavours — all set in the heart of Highland Hideaway. Start with a cooking session, using farm-fresh produce to craft a delicious morning treat you'll enjoy later. Then it's time for our signature animal encounters — cuddle lambs, feed goats and pigs, and get to know our iconic Highland cows: Cupcake, Apollo, and Blinky Bill. Laughter fills the paddocks with fun novelty games, perfect for all ages and designed to bring out your playful side. Midway through, enjoy a morning tea break featuring your own fresh-made treat and a hot cuppa, followed by a country-style picnic lunch (weather permitting), showcasing local produce and relaxed grazing in nature. We had such a lovely morning at the Highland Hideaway. An authentic family farm in a beautiful part of Australia. Such a warm environment and experience with all their animals… we of course loved the Highland Coos (especially Johnno!!) Holding the ducks was a first for us and also the pigs sitting for their piece of scone! We booked the Platinum experience and had a peaceful lunch surrounded by the Highland Coos and a tour of the land. We’d love to come back for an overnighter one day soon and will be recommending to all friends & family 🐮🤗⭐️

Today we attended Highland Hideaway for their Mother’s Day Morning Tea & it exceeded our expectations! Not only was it an amazing day for me and my mother, but my two year old son also had the time of his life! From meeting a 4day old little lamb, feeding hungry goats and sheep to brushing highland cows, this place had it all. And to finish off we were treated with the most delectable Scones (made fresh by the owner!) highly recommend!

Such a fun and hands on farm experience. We were welcomed by the owners Trevor and Julie who were so friendly and knowledgeable. Starting the experience with collecting eggs to make scones, we then ventured on to meet, feed and pat all of the animals (highland cows, pigs, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys - they have it all) . The thing we loved the most was that this was a small and intimate group and a privately owned farm by real locals! I would recommend this to everyone! Such a fun morning out in nature.

Great tour! Very intimate and such down to earth people that ran the tour! Got to spend a good amount of time with all of their animals too! Especially the highland cows obviously 🥰 Learnt how to make scones as well which turned out delicious and such a bonus. Would recommend 🤍

We visited Highland Hideaways on the weekend as a surprise for my birthday (Thanks kids!) and it was absolutely wonderful. The morning started with collecting fresh eggs from the chook pen and making scones, followed by spending a couple of hours meeting, patting, feeding, and even brushing the adorable animals — including the beautiful Highland cows! Julie and her lovely team cooked up our scones for morning tea, and the whole experience was warm, personal, and full of heart. Julie and her family went above and beyond — even chasing me down to the car to give me a birthday card! Such a beautiful family and a special place. We can’t wait to go back and see what they do next. Highly recommend!
