Clean and perfect for a night/s away. Only issue was there was no iron. Everything else ie: kettle, toaster, bar fridge and glasses and tea coffee etc all there. Room size great, nice hot shower. Good location to town.
Very disappointing experience and poor customer service. We booked and paid for a pet-friendly room (paid the extra $20 pet fee). Before arrival, management had even emailed asking for our dog’s name and breed, which I provided. Despite that, on arrival we were approached and told we would be charged an additional $20 for the dog because they supposedly did not know we had one. That made no sense given the room booked, the extra amount already paid, and the prior email correspondence. The situation became worse after our stay when we were accused of damaging the TV connection in the room and our card was charged for repairs without our knowledge or consent. We did not damage the TV. We turned it on briefly, saw it would not access normal channels, and left it alone. Instead of dealing with the matter fairly, management made assumptions and treated those assumptions as fact. The overall impression was an abrasive manager and a business more interested in blaming guests than resolving issues properly. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again.
The rooms are simple but comfortable. The stand out was the helpful manager, Kate. She looked after us very well and accommodated our last-minute requests (due to an unexpected family situation), all with kindness and a smile.
This hotel has a new section with 10 rooms which are amazing. Can’t believe this is available in Kingaroy. Loved the heated spa. WIFI was fast.
Okay accommodation. Information only given at sign in re extra costs. Dogs not allowed on beds not explained at sign in.
