My family and I were extremely happy with our stay at McNevins Maryborough. The rooms were clean and luxurious, with a lovely shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast at the Motel Cafe was delicious and conveniently located on the Motel grounds. Bottle shop, fish and chip shop all within walking distance as well as the lovely Queenspark and Brolga Theatre. Perfect Stay
Lady at the front desk was lovely and accomodating. Rooms were really clean, spacious and in good condition. Air con was new and worked well and beds were super comfortable. Fridge could have worked better as it wasn’t that cold and freezer didn’t freeze things. Little bit annoying there was no cutlery or bowls and no complimentary milk or cold water like most motels. Apart from tea and coffee anything on the bench or fridge is part of the mini bar. Great place to stay for the night.
Great place to stay, not too close to shops and pubs so it's nice and quiet. I had a good size room which was clean and well maintained. Newly renovated bathroom. Very comfortable king sized bed. Reasonably priced for what I got. I'll definitely stay here again.
Clean rooms, very good facilities. Stayed in the room on the second floor of two stores building at the back of the motel, it felt like staying at the resort. Quiet, views over the trees and a pool. Thank you to Louise for her help.
Very dated dirty and dusty hotel room, and rude staff who did not make me feel welcome. Not recommended. Update I recently stayed at a hotel in Maryborough, Queensland and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. If you are searching on Google for accommodation in Maryborough QLD, I strongly suggest reading reviews carefully before booking. During my stay the customer service was extremely disappointing. Hospitality should be about welcoming guests, professionalism, and respect, but sadly that was not my experience here. After my stay I provided genuine and constructive feedback in a Google review, hoping the hotel would take the opportunity to improve their service. Instead, the response I received from management was rude, abrupt, and dismissive. Their public reply on Google only reinforced the poor level of customer service I experienced while staying at the hotel. When guests take the time to leave honest feedback, professional businesses normally respond respectfully and use it as an opportunity to improve. Unfortunately that did not happen here. Because of both the experience during my stay and the way management responded publicly on Google, I will never return. This was by far the worst accommodation experience I have had in Maryborough QLD. If you are looking for hotels in Maryborough QLD, places to stay in Maryborough, or accommodation in the Fraser Coast region, I would strongly recommend considering other options. Based on my experience: avoid this hotel at all costs.
