Amazing campground with kangaroos everywhere! Possums, lorikeets, all different birds. No allocated campspots so you can stretch out as far as you need. Toilets always clean. $5 a load of laundry but no dryers. Clean and useful camp kitchen with microwave! Huge kids playground, definitely worth staying here!
A pretty nice place to camp, we unfortunately met a Karen though who immediately told us to move our caravan when we parked, thinking the whole area belonged to her, we politely told her that we chose this place as there was a toilet nearby and it was suitable for us, later when we went on a walk we saw her reporting it to one of the staff. We were later sent an email telling us we had to move our vehicle by the management, there were no set rules about how far each vehicle had to be from the other yet we were still told to move
I stayed in a lakeside villa far from the main reception, almost a km. Wifi is almost non existent so you need your own cell phone coverage if you need it. Villas are either 2 or 3 bedroom. Some are ramp accessible. Clean and fully equipped. Good lake views and have a car parking space.
Great place to have a fire on your camp site with a beautiful view of the lake. Nice open sites, friendly staff. We'll be back for sure, highly recommend
A good stay, if a little pricey at $50 a night for an unpowered site. But you do have access to the lake via boat ramps which is maybe what you're paying for. Location was beautiful. We visited during school holidays and upon arrival it was absolute rammo, not much space at all. It was quite noisy with families playing music loudly all day and into the evening, plus dozens of jet skies flying around. Can't fault a business for being busy though. Toilets and showers were good. Staff were friendly. Overall good stay but busy.
