Quaffers on Storm King offers seven luxury fully self-contained cabins, set amongst 30 acres of native bushland on the banks of Storm King Dam.
The cabins have been carefully situated around the property to maximise water views, while still having privacy. Each cabin features a fireplace and air-conditioning, a dining and lounge room with a large screen television and a modern fully equipped kitchen with an open pantry and cook-your-own breakfast parcels included.
Luxurious king-sized beds (studio features queen bed) with linen and electric blankets to keep you snug in winter and large en suites complete the internal of the cabins.
Step out onto the large decks with outdoor lounges and enjoy the peaceful settings with views over Storm King Dam. Quaffers on Storm King has 250m of dam frontage with access for swimming, fishing, kayaking, boating and skiing (trailer boat ramp 1 kilometre away). Enjoy a picnic by the water's edge with your very own fire pit.
Quaffers is located 230 kilometres, around three hour's drive, from Brisbane and 12 kilometres from Stanthorpe right in the heart of Queensland's own Wine country.

We recently spent three nights at Quaffers and had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was exceptional—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast parcels provided for each morning were a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Deb was a fantastic host. She was friendly, welcoming, always available, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The cabins were cosy and inviting, especially with the wood fire, while still offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Quaffers to anyone visiting the area.

We are obsessed with this place! My partner and I have been visiting Stanthorpe and the area for almost our entire 20 year relationship and have found Quaffers to be the BEST! The reasons why are: Immaculate cabins with KING beds (comfy as). Fireplace. Kitchen with gas cook top and barbecue. Coffee machine with ample pods. Huge bath tub, big enough for big lads! The kind offer of breakfast provisions. Immaculate cleanliness. Amazing amazing service from Deb. Balanced access to both Stanthorpe and Ballandean. Ample wildlife. Washpool products in the shower. Ample space between cabins. Plus so much more! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we barely had time to take photos, but here are some. Don’t hesitate to book here, you won’t regret it!

We stayed at Quaffers on Storm King for a long weekend. The host, Deb was very welcoming, organised and accommodating. The cabin was clean, well maintained and had everything that we needed included. Deb ensured we had enough firewood each day and supplied a delicious breakfast pack. Deb organised a gift basket as we were staying for a special occasion. Highly recommend Quaffers on Storm King

We stayed in the 2brm cabin with friends, the hospitality offered to us was amazing, from the pre-arrival communication, to the friendly greeting. This was only surpassed by the very comfortable and stylish cabin, with a fire already stoked for us. The breakfast hamper was bountiful, and every little need catered to in the pantry and facilities offered. Outside the parrot spotting in the surrounding bushland was exciting and kangaroos for neighbours was lovely to wake up to!!

Fantastic weekend away, such a beautiful, peaceful location but easy enough to get to all the main attractions. Cabins were beautifully presented with water views. Couldn't be more appreciative of the little extras, a bottle of wine in the fridge, hot cross buns, jams and an excellent breakfast. Thank you! We'll definitely be back!
