SkyPoint Climb takes place on the top of the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise and at 270 metres in the air, it is one of Australia's highest external building climbs!
Starting on level 77 of SkyPoint Observation Deck, Climbers will enter the open air dressed in a full body suit and harness. Following their Climb guide, participants will then traverse up towards the crow's nest located at the highest point of the Climb at around 270 metres above the ground. Regular stops will be taken to admire the stunning 360 degree views of the Gold Coast region including the golden beaches, city skyline and lush green hinterland. Climbers will then descend to level 77.
Altogether the experience takes approximately 90 minutes including a briefing session and the time on the Climb course.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a beautiful experience at the Skydeck! I highly recommend visiting around 4:30–5:00 pm so you can enjoy the stunning scenery during the day and stay to watch the beautiful vanilla sky as the sun starts to set. The view was absolutely amazing and the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. Definitely worth visiting! ✨🌅
While visiting the Gold Coast from Perth, we stayed at Q1 and decided to try the highly anticipated SkyPoint Observation Deck Breakfast. One thing to be aware of is that you can’t pre-book the breakfast online. If you’re staying at Q1, you can purchase discounted tickets at reception; otherwise, you’ll need to pay full price at the SkyPoint entry. We visited on a Saturday morning, and the queues were huge. Even in the priority line, we still waited around 15–20 minutes before getting through. As you enter, your photo is taken, which you can purchase later if you choose. The lift ride to Level 77 takes just 38 seconds, which is incredibly fast! We were lucky enough to get a window couch table overlooking both the city skyline and the ocean (I think it was Table 206). The weather was perfect, and the panoramic views across the Gold Coast were absolutely spectacular. Without a doubt, the view is the highlight of the entire experience. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of variety, so there’s something for most people. However, I would describe it as more of a high-volume buffet rather than a premium breakfast. The food was decent, but if you’re expecting a gourmet dining experience, you may be a little disappointed. You’re really paying for the incredible views rather than exceptional food. We paid $149 for two adults and two children through the Q1 reception, which was a worthwhile saving compared to paying at the door. After breakfast, you’re directed downstairs where you have the option to purchase the photos taken on arrival. Personally, I think this is unnecessary given the premium price already being charged. Including a digital photo with the breakfast package would have been a much nicer touch rather than feeling like another upsell. Overall, we’re glad we experienced breakfast at SkyPoint once. The breathtaking views made it worthwhile, and it’s something we’re happy to tick off the list. That said, it’s not something we’d do again. In fact, we found the café near the SkyPoint entrance served a better-quality breakfast. If you’re considering this experience, go for the views—they’re world-class.
Lovely and clean. Beautiful views. The windows were shaking violently with the wind outside tho, which was a little unsettling I must admit. The food was nice, but rather expensive (especially the non-alcoholic drinks). This was a place id only ever visit one time, simply because using the very fast lift is definately not my thing. The screaming sound of it rushing up thru the middle of the building to collect you is quite alarming and id rather not do it again.
We had a lovely breakfast buffet here, it's definitely worth the price at $44 pp excluding the entrance fee we got on sale less than $30, with this stunning view it's definitely worth it to come here. You'll get the chance to see Gold Coast in a 360 view up there. Great experienced!! Cant wait to come back soon and climb the highest point.
OMG!!!! I didn't know what to expect, I was left not only speechless but breathless too 😁 the views of gold coast and beyond from the observation deck was spectacular. Approx 38seconds to get to the 77th floor where it turned out to be a magical experience. It was definitely worth it. A must for anyone visiting the gold coast and Brisbane for that matter. Going back to Kenya with a heart full of gratitude and an amazing experience 😎
