Tangatours - Moreton Island

Our family of 5 (grandparents, couple and 3 year old) did the fish feeding tour which was fun and informative! Skipper (bearded fella whose name I’ve forgotten) was funny and welcoming. Kyle at the booking office is an absolute LEGEND and not only got me on a scuba dive on a fully booked day, but when I hadn’t booked for the right number of people, arranged for us to join a second unadvertised tour of only 9 of us so we didn’t miss out - very happy kiddo especially as the next day was rainy! Scuba on the wrecks was also awesome - dive master Chris was also a total LEGEND - perfect mix of safety, fun, helpful and informative. Saw plenty and always felt at ease with Chris whilst he also guided two less experienced divers. Would 100% recommend diving with Chris, a real holiday highlight for me - merci beaucoup - photobomb attached!! Thanks Tangatours, love your work!

First time to Tangalooma with a family of 12 people Brad and the team at Tangatours looked after us with a few activities for our family and we all had a great time ! Parasailing was awesome but the kayak to the shipwrecks was the highlight . Our Tour guide Ky/ Kai ? Was just the BEST ! he literally made the experience and he put up with my dysfunctional family dynamic 🤣 All the staff we dealt with from Tangatours were extremely helpful and professional

The island itself and wildlife are beautiful, however the snorkelling & dolphin feeding package was very different to what was advertised online. Over commercialised and way too many people booked onto the same activity which ruined the whole experience for us. We waited in a wetsuit for over an hour prior to going snorkelling. In the evening we waited for an hour in a que to feed the dolphins, only to be handed one fish between two people, and the encounter itself lasted around five seconds before being asked to move on as there were so many other people qued behind us waiting to do the same. Tangatours also asked guests not to use the flash on thier cameras whilst taking photographs of the dolphins. They then proceeded to use thier own photographers to take photos of guests feeding them (with the flash on) so they could sell it to you afterwards.

We had an excellent time going to blue lagoon with “Doc”. He was an absolutely fantastic tour guide, gave us wonderful information and made us laugh along the way. We had a fantastic morning tea and the gluten free was great! Thanks so much for a great day Doc!
