The Country House at Hunchy offers just two exclusive King Spa Suites - the Rainforest Retreat and the Bottlebrush Suite. The Rainforest Retreat is the showcase suite, with the Bottlebrush offering equal space and comfort. Each features a separate bedroom, relaxing lounge area, en suite bathroom with spa bath and separate shower, walk-in robe, and two private verandas with outdoor furniture overlooking the rainforest, coast, and Blackall Range. Suites are tastefully furnished with reading materials, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans, king bed (twin king single option), luxury linen, bath robes, hair dryer, iron, large flat-screen TV with satellite channels, Bluetooth sound bar, wireless internet, coffee machine with quality capsules, tea essentials, mini bar, microwave, crockery, and cutlery. Guests also enjoy local Maleny Dairies milk, Montville Mist bottled water, and chocolates.

Rainforest luxury at this 🌟5-Star B&B💎. Teresa, Terri and Steve are generous hosts with attention to detail and the personal touches. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful; made with loads of 💜 and local fresh ingredients. The happy hour was fun filled with laughter, billiards, a swim in the pool and lots of stories. Enjoy the Tiki bar or some Karaoke, if you like. The Rainforest Suite was perfectly appointed with comfy a King and carefully curated living area to optimise comfort with convenience. The Suite has two peaceful aspects over the gardens. With triple shower heads, spa and sparkles the bathroom was so luxurious. Just the getaway for a romantic 30th anniversary. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Country House in Hutchy, Australia—and it was nothing short of incredible! Our suite was spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect retreat. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were our hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, cared for, and genuinely special. By the end of our visit, we felt more like friends than guests. If we lived closer, this would easily become our annual getaway. Do yourself a favor: visit Australia and make The Country House in Hutchy part of your journey. You won’t regret it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Country House at Hunchy and would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. My suite was large, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, but with the very inviting common area just a few steps away, I hardly spent any time in it! Terri is an outstanding cook, but if you feel like getting out and about, she and Steve can also recommend some lovely nearby pubs and restaurants. Things to do in the area: Steve Irwin’s zoo is a must, and the hosts can connect you with a float plane operation in Sunshine Coast that delivers some amazing photo opportunities. I definitely plan to return!

Bringing the American dream to Australia! Can't thank Terri, Teresa and Steve-o enough for their hospitality. We felt at home from the minute we arrived. The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. From the personalised welcome message in our room, to the attention to detail in the presentation in our breakfasts and dinner, you just know these Yankees are here to cater to you and truly let you melt into the beautiful rainforest environment and completely relax as one with nature. These guys (and their World class Tradies) have done an incredible job making the Country house what it is today. Keep up the good work my friends, you deserve to win all of the awards. My wife and I stayed at the Country House at Hunchy and it was the best stay away I have ever had. We were warmly greeted by Teresa & Terri upon arrival and they made us feel special from that moment until we had to leave 2 days later. Teresa, Terri & Steve made our stay the perfect blend of relaxation and resetting your body, both mentally and physically. You wake up in the morning to perfect peace and step onto your choice of deck to hear the birds chirping and to see the tropical green forest. The accommodation was impeccably presented and the personalisation and attention to detail was such a wonderful touch. So many special touches by the Hunchy team in your suite. Not to mention their special brand of happy hour, the beautiful 3 course breakfasts, the wonderful conversations, the peace & tranquility and so much more. Nothing was too much for them to do for you-this made our stay outstanding. If I could give 6 stars or a Michelin star I would. Thank you Teresa, Terri & Steve.
