About

Embrace the ultimate adventure at Thunderbird Park, tucked into the stunning Tamborine Mountain Glades. Just a short drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, this destination brings the perfect blend of nature and thrill for an unforgettable escape.

Set up camp at one of the park's spacious campsites, complete with fire pits and modern facilities for the true camping experience. If you're after a bit more luxury, book a Woodland Tent—glamping with an ensuite bathroom, where you can enjoy a starlit shower amidst the rainforest's lush canopy.

Thunderbird Park is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a range of activities for all ages. Dig up ancient thundereggs, battle it out in jungle Laser Skirmish, or fly through the treetops with the TreeTop Challenge. Families can dive into Dig IT, Australia's first mini-excavator park, or unwind with a game of championship mini-golf.

After an action-packed day, take to the walking trails and immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding bushland, or keep an eye out for the vibrant birds that inhabit the area. Then kick back with a meal, from a relaxed breakfast on the Terrace to a delicious dinner at the Rainforest Restaurant and Lounge Bar, where the flavors are as enticing as the views.

We had a great time up at Thunderbird Park. As a family, we did the Geode Fossicking. It was fairly priced for what it was, a bit of fun, but my kids found it very hard work. They were given bouts of motivation when they found something cool though. Take your swimmers as the creek was really nice to cool off in on a hot day. We had lunch there aswell, which was on the higher priced side, but as a tourist destination its to be expected. The service we received from any of the staff there though was awesome. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back for other activities or even to camp.
