Really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean and cozy, the service was excellent, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The hotel is in a great location near the airport, making it a convenient choice for travellers. Would happily stay here again.
The Kingsford, Ascend Hotel Collection was amazing. The wheelchair-accessible room was huge—by far one of the most spacious and comfortable accessible rooms I’ve stayed in, with plenty of room to move easily and relax. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully laid out, which made the stay genuinely stress-free. The staff were absolutely wonderful—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to be helpful and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is also incredibly convenient: directly across the street from a grocery store, a Domino’s Pizza selling AUD $13 pizzas, and a wine shop, which made meals and supplies effortless. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for wheelchair users looking for comfort, space, and excellent service.
I’ve now stayed at Kingsford Hotel Brisbane Airport five times, across a few different room types, and it’s consistently been a really solid choice. The rooms are comfortable and well laid out, with enough space to properly spread your things out rather than living out of a suitcase on the floor. The beds are genuinely comfortable, which for me is non negotiable, and everything in the room just works. Good lighting, practical layout, clean and tidy bathrooms. It feels easy to stay there. The staff are always friendly and welcoming at the desk, and I want to give a special mention to Penna at reception. She remembers returning guests, takes the time for a quick chat and makes you feel genuinely welcome. That personal touch makes a difference, especially when you travel often. The location is another big plus. It’s about 10 to 15 minutes from the airport, which makes early flights simple. It’s directly across from several restaurants and a Woolworths Metro, so grabbing dinner or anything you’ve forgotten is easy. There’s also a lovely walking track nearby, which is great for a morning walk before heading out. Parking is available on site and free when spots are open, and there’s also plenty of street parking around the area. Overall, I find my stays here very comfortable and good value for a Brisbane hotel. It’s become my go to when I need to be near the airport.
The rooms are very modern and nice but small. Only 2 coffee packets and 2 tea bags. Not really worth the price they charge but great location and within walking distance to loads of shops and restaurants and Hamilton pub. The girls working there are lovely and it's good to have the little bar and Cafe on site but very limited menu and not the best food. In the morning I had a late check out and the male cleaner came barging into my room while I was on the loo!! They should be told to knock first to make sure guests have left!
I was expecting a small room, but as I walked in it’s a pretty decent size with couches and a tv and a big bed! It’s in a good location too, not too far from the main city which is great! And can go for a nice walk down the riverwalk
