Sports rafting on the mighty Tully River. An unforgettable experience of fun, adrenaline and laughter awaits as you navigate through grade 2 and 3 rapids of the stunning Tully River, fringed by the oldest rainforests in the world. Under the instruction of our expert guides you will emerge as a victorious Wildside ‘White Water Warrior’ with memories to last a life time. Half and Full day Tours available.
Next, take a wild ride on their rib ‘Tornado’ experiencing an exclusive ‘Hot lap’ of Dunk Island, a beautiful tropical island boasting stretches of sandy beaches, coral reefs, hiking paths to Mt Kootaloo lookout, secret caves and stunning boulder formations on a beautiful Jurassic backdrop.
Explore and discover the underwater world or laze around on a boulder or under a palm tree at the sheltered Coconut Bay, while you wait for your return boat ride to Mission Beach. A maximum group of 10 people on each journey will ensure a more intimate experience in these World Heritage treasures. Half day tours available or charter the boat and discover paradise on your terms.

Half Day Sports Rafting or 8 person rafts
Paddle 6 kilometres of pure fun on the world class Tully River in your own sports raft. Learn the techniques of white water rafting and become a Wildside 'White Water Warrior'. Take in the stunning scenery through 400 Million Year old rainforests. Wildside Adventures are a friendly local business with expert guides. On request, they pick-up from Mission Beach at 7.45am, and return at around 1.00 pm . Rapids are grade two and three. Minimum age is six years. Instruction and all equipment included.
Get Dunk'ed - Dunk Island Tour

I went on the half day rafting tour. My first time rafting. It was amazing!! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel completely at ease. The Tully Gorge itself is stunning to see. Highly recommend Wildside Adventures. I will definitely utilise their services next time I'm up that way.

We did a half day tour on the Tully River White Water Rafting . Our first experience rafting and the team were very supportive and made the day so much fun. They are also wonderful with the kids . Highly recommend and would do this trip again if we are up this way . We stayed at the Tully Campground which is where the rafting also starts and was a great couple of days.

Had the best time White Water Rafting! Even though it was raining the scenery was gorgeous and the team were engaging, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable. Felt very safe with them even though we were a little nervous to start, and ended up having an incredible morning even though we fell in on the first rapid! Would 100% do again next time we're in the area ☺️

I did the Tully River white water rafting tour with this company. Fantastic adventure experience, really friendly, knowledgeable guides who kept us safe while still able to enjoy the adrenalin rush of rafting the rapids. Loved it!
